Easy route that visits chestnut groves and outdoor art.
Signage: 757. Carobbi - Route
If you want a route that is not too long or strenuous, but still interesting and varied, this is the one for you. You start from Arco and head towards San Martino, initially along a mountain road, then on concrete and dirt roads up to the district of Carobbi, a farmhouse ideally located surrounded by majestic chestnut trees. Forest paths then lead down to the picturesque village of Braila and along a paved road to the Outdoor Gallery. Then you descend passing through Drena, beyond the imposing castle and into the Sarca Valley. Staying on the southeastern side of the valley, you alternate paved and dirt sections and pedal through flat orchards and vineyards back to the starting point at Arco.

At the outdoor gallery near Drena, you can admire unique artworks and sculptures by various artists.

Safety advice
This information is subject to inevitable changes, so none of these indications is absolute. The starting point of the route is in Arco, along the cycle path next to the Caneve parking lot. Following the cycle path towards the center of Arco, we cross the Sarca river and proceed north following it. We pass next to the climbing stadium and cross the river again. At the roundabout, we cross the main road and reach the tree-lined street on the other side, which leads to the Convent of San Francesco.
Instead of going all the way to the convent, we turn left onto Via di Sai and then right onto Via Angelo Maino. At the intersection near the parking lot, we turn left and cross the district of San Martino, passing near the church located above. Then we keep right and start climbing on a rather narrow paved road towards the Policromuro wall and the Bosco Caproni.
Once reached Pianaura, we arrive at a junction and turn right to continue the climb towards Troiana, where the asphalt gives way to a dirt road, and Carobbi, a beautiful place surrounded by splendid chestnut groves.
At Carobbi, we turn left and start descending, first towards Braila and then towards Drena. In the village, we follow Via Segantini towards the castle, from where you must continue on the main road. After 1 km, we turn left onto a path and continue descending.
Having met the main road again, we follow it south for just over 600 meters, then turn left, continuing off-road, towards Arco. When we reach the crossroads at Moletta, we cross it and head to the river and cycle path to follow back to the starting point.
The main locations of Garda Trentino - Riva del Garda, Arco, Torbole sul Garda, Nago – are connected by several urban and suburban bus lines that will take you to the starting point of the routes or nearby.

Remember to carefully evaluate the type of route you intend to take, the places you will cross, and the current season. Has it rained? Be careful: trails can be slippery and require more caution.
